The sebum cutaneum forms the main component of the lipids in the protective cover layer. By definition, the sebum cutaneum is described as being viscose skin oil which is produced and secreted by sebaceous gland cells and controlled by hormones (testosterone and pro-gesterone stimulate production, estrogens reduce this).
Starting with the onset of puberty, the production of sex hormones has an effect on the sebaceous glands. This is why the sebaceous glands are especially active during the growth stage of most young people. The most susceptible areas for this are the chin, nose and forehead.
The formation of callous horn is stimulated at the same time so that the increasing amount of horn cells get stuck during the excretion process. This is the reason why blockage of the sebaceous gland is the result. Skin often reacts to this sort of condition by becoming inflamed. The arrival and collection of bacteria intensifies the inflammation.
Pimples and blackheads result from a complex interplay of multiple factors. Apart from hormonal influences, nutrient poor diets, excess sugar intake, stress, pollution, make-up, lack of sleep and genetics all play a vital role in the formation of acne.
After the medical treatment, Comedopeel Serum will make the skin appear flawless, smooth, fresh and healthy with blackheads effectively removed.
Professional Products also available in 3ml monodose.
A chemical peel is a technique used by professional dermatologists to improve the skin on face, neck and hands by stripping away dry and dull skin to reveal the softer and smoother skin underneath. Through the application of a chemical solution, chemical peels achieve an non-invasive painless exfoliation that will eventually peel off the damaged skin. The new skin appears smoother and less wrinkled.
Chemical peels are appropriate for acne scars, aging skin, hyperpigmentation, melasma, chrono and photo-aging.
Depending on the skin damage, chemical peels can be superficial, medium or deep. The evaluation by a dermatologic surgeon should reveal which one to apply and which skins are not recommended to use chemical peels (pregnant women, patient with infections, broken skin and sunburns)
