MADE IN SPAIN
All the products are manufactured in a sustainable way in Spain, they have not been tested on animals and they have neither parabens nor gluten.
Skin color is mainly determined by the amount, distribution and type of melanin. Contained in organelles (melanosomes) and transported towards the extremities of finger-like projections (dendrites) through the Stratum Corneum (SC), Melanin is formed by biopolymers synthesized in melanocytes in the dermo-epidermal junction.
The balance of the pigments of the Melanin (Pheomelanin and eumelanin) determines pigmentation. The final skin tone is lightened by the de-gradation that the pigments suffer on their way to the SC.
Natural aging and UV exposure induce abnormal melanin accumulations (spots, freckles, melasma, lentigines), resulting in undesired hyperpigmentation.
Tyrosinase is a crucial enzyme for melanin synthesis.
After the medical Peel, Melanze Cream inhibits the activity of mushroom and human tyrosinase obtaining a brightening efficacy lacking any toxicologic or mutagenic potential like ocular irritation, phototoxicity, cytotoxicity in 3T3 fibroblasts, human primary melanocytes and human epidermal keratinocytes, Ames test and skin sensitization.
Professional Products also available in 3ml monodose.
A chemical peel is a technique used by professional dermatologists to improve the skin on face, neck and hands by stripping away dry and dull skin to reveal the softer and smoother skin underneath. Through the application of a chemical solution, chemical peels achieve an non-invasive painless exfoliation that will eventually peel off the damaged skin. The new skin appears smoother and less wrinkled.
Chemical peels are appropriate for acne scars, aging skin, hyperpigmentation, melasma, chrono and photo-aging.
Depending on the skin damage, chemical peels can be superficial, medium or deep. The evaluation by a dermatologic surgeon should reveal which one to apply and which skins are not recommended to use chemical peels (pregnant women, patient with infections, broken skin and sunburns)
